TongDou Tester Content & Collaboration Agreement

The Golden Rules of our collaboration:
- We send you a free/discounted TongDou prototype to play with.
- You share an honest review, video, or desk setup photo on your social media.
- You allow us to repost or crop your videos for our official Kickstarter and marketing.
- You promise to be honest — critics are welcome — and play safe with the hardware.
No hidden consent: you only agree if you actively check the agreement box in the tester application form.
1. The Prototype & The Deal
We will ship you one early TongDou prototype. This is experimental hardware with exposed PCBs and moving parts, not a final retail product. In exchange, you agree to post an honest review, video, or social post within 14 days of receiving it. You are not our employee or agent — just a cool creator helping us out.
2. Content License (How we use your videos)
By posting content about TongDou, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to repost, edit, subtitle, crop, and include your videos/photos in our official crowdfunding campaigns and social media. We will always credit your channel, for example “Review by @username”, to help send our audience back to you. You still own your original content.
3. Honest Reviews & FTC Disclosure
We welcome bugs, criticisms, and negative feedback — no fake positive scripts required. However, as required by FTC guidelines and common honesty, you must clearly disclose that you received an early prototype for free/review when you post publicly.
4. IP & Feedback Ownership
Any technical feedback, bug reports, or feature ideas you send us may be used to improve TongDou's open-source hardware, firmware, or docs without separate royalties. Please keep private instructions, supplier details, or unreleased files confidential until we officially launch them.
5. Play Safe (The Liability part)
Since TongDou has exposed gears, motors, and battery elements, please use it responsibly. Keep it away from young kids, pets, water, and unsafe chargers. If you modify the hardware, solder components, or flash custom firmware, you do so entirely at your own risk.
